USP炽灼残渣的温度与标准

USP凡例中规定“Ignite to constant weight” means that ignition shall be continued at800 ± 25°, unless otherwise indicated, until two consecutive weighings, thesecond of which is taken after an additional period appropriate to the natureand quantity of the residue, do not differ by more than 0.50 mg per g ofsubstance taken.”除另有规定外，“灼烧至恒重”指在800±25℃下持续灼烧，直到连续两次称重的差异不超过0.50mg/g，根据残渣数量及属性，第二次称量选择在第一次后适当的时间。

然而<281>炽灼残渣章节中规定“……and ignite at 600 ± 50°, unlessanother temperature is specified in the individual monograph, until the residue is completely incinerated. ”“……until two consecutive weighings of the residue do not differ by more than 0.5 mg or until the percentage of residue complies with the limit in the individual monograph.”在600±50℃炽灼，直到连续两次称重的差异不超过0.5mg。

凡例和<281>中的炽灼温度和炽灼标准是否冲突？在实际操作中是否应按照<281>来执行？

个人觉得：看你后续作不作重金属测试  来决定使用哪种温度

是的，没有继续用于重金属测试的，灼烧温度基本按800℃，而用于重金属测试的基本按600℃【通常情况按这个规定，如有例外的则按其具体规定】

最近也在看这个问题，我个人的理解是：USP和ChP的炽灼残渣检测方法本身要求不同，USP281炽灼残渣不要求炽灼至恒重，chP炽灼残渣要求炽灼至恒重，所以USP法就按照281来就行，USP凡例中说的炽灼至恒重是为了解释一些各论中的操作，比如品种Zinc Stearate项下的
